Cookies
Only registered users will have cookies set, which is to help us secure the login session.
Embedded content from other websites
Occasionally, articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Our Twitter feed is an example of an embedded feed and interactions with the feed are recorded and governed by Twitter’s T&Cs.
Analytics
We collect data using Google Analytics and JetPack. Ours hosts Our Locality also collect detailed logs, for administrative purposes only. If we have enabled sharing tools, please be aware that some data may be shared, which if used in combination with other data could be tracked by third parties, e.g. your interest in good quality original artworks by upcoming artists. Such data may be used by third party advertisers to send you tailored adverts, though not through any services that we currently offer.
Who we share your data with
As above.
How long we retain your data
We don’t collect personalised data on this website. Depersonalised data may be collected by Google and Jetpack services, and we would refer you to their retention policies. We have set these to the default.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Our services are run from data centres in the UK, where our back ups are also stored.
