The East Coast Open starts on the 17th of December.
During May 2010 a sea trip was made to the West coast of Scotland. Travelling aboard Taraka a Dutch Rogger built in 1976
Another set of Japanese water based woodblock prints – as previously, these are all unique prints rather than editions.
A series of small works recently undertaken using wood blocks and water based colours, printed on Japanese papers. These Japanese water based woodblock prints are made using a variety of hard and soft wood blocks giving a variety of grain effects.
Recent new works – some still in proofing stages or ongoing works, some now finished, plus some new woodblocks.
The first prints from the first engraved and sand blasted plates – all went well – no broken plates!! Very vibrant colours and brilliant paper white.
Another group of images which all include trees.
“WIRED” a series of five drypoint etchings executed on copper key plates with secondary colour plates in zinc. Numbers 2, 4 & 5 are two plate five colour prints. All are printed on Moulin De Gue paper.
Recent glass making from 2009 – works made in the hot glass workshops of Graham Muir in Duns.
