The first prints from the first engraved and sand blasted plates – all went well – no broken plates!! Very vibrant colours and brilliant paper white.

Linear Series

Series of prints created as multi-plate prints using drypoint, photo-etch and solarplate. The artwork for these images was drawn onto glass plates which had previously been sand blasted with part of the image. These glass plates were then used as the masters to make the solarplate and etch plates. As the series progresses the sandblacsting …

Multiplate

A combination of three plates – the background is a drypoint on zinc, the overlayed image is both photo-polymer and chine-colle or another drypoint, the third element is a small solarplate plate of a peony flower.
